Get ready for Body Worlds at the O2 Bubble, as Dr Gunther von Hagens brings his third amazing installation to London!
Certain to be one of the most unusual and exciting exhibitions in London this year, Body Worlds at O2 also fulfills a very important scientific function... By alllowing Dr Gunther and his scientists access to these bodies that are specifically donated to his cause, the anatomist can learn valuable scientific lessons.
Rather than dwell on the mortality of human life, the scientist hopes that everyone who visits the exhibition will be inspired by the amazing structure that is the body, and will take away a desire to live life to the full.
Body Worlds will be exhibiting at the O2 Bubble during the 24th October 2008 - 23rd August 2009.

- Body Worlds and the Mirror of Time examine the effects that life has on the body, and how cells, bone, muscles, blood and skin all continue to change in an effort to help preserve and maintain life.
- The exhibition features amazing REAL human and animal bodies that have been coated in plastic, rather than wrapped up in muslin.
- NEW FOR THIS WINTER, The O2 invites you to hit ‘The Slopes’, London’s first ever indoor artificial twin ski slope. Running from 30th November to 25th January 09, visitors will be able to ski, snowboard or snow tube at The O2, making it THE London winter attraction.
- The twin slopes, both 45 metres in length will bring the whole skiing experience even closer to the people of London. Not only will visitors be able to learn to ski or snowboard but The Slopes will be open to experienced skiers to warm up their ski/snowboard legs before heading to the mountains.
- Aside from skiing and snowboarding, the more adventurous mountain person will be able to try out the snow tubes. These inflatable sledges are perfect for everyone whether you like spinning, sliding or just sledging.
