The Dungeons are a unique combination of real history, horror and humour using live actors, interactive shows, breathtaking rides and special effects to take you back in history.
With all the great exhibits to see, if you were locked in and they threw away the key, you might not actually mind! Everything shown is based on real local historical events, meaning that a visit to either one of the Dungeons is educational and informative as well as being a thrilling experience! However, you may be disturbed by eerie events from any one of the forty gruesome attractions.
Fantastic new features for this year include coming face to face with Jack the Ripper in London! York Dungeons is now home to Dick Turpin, the sadistic killer who wants his revenge … in blood! Or feel the passion of Scotland’s warrior hero Sir William Wallace at Edinburgh Dungeons as you fight the English at the Battle of Stirling Bridge … are you brave enough?
A day at the Dungeons leaves you (perhaps worryingly) wanting more and more gore!

Great fun. Just the right level of gore for the kids, and the guides do a great job. Buying in advance meant we by-passed an hour-long queue.
