San Francisco Downtown Tour - Hop on Hop off

When you visit a city like San Francisco the last thing you want is to find yourself wandering aimlessly, map in hand, searching for the amazing landmarks you’ve always wanted to see. Make the most of your precious time with 24 hours’ unlimited use of this bus tour, which will take you directly to San Francisco’s most famous sights!

The Downtown Loop is a hop-on hop-off tour, meaning you can take your time exploring at each stop and simply jump back on when you’re ready to visit the next location. Live narration throughout the tour ensures that you won’t miss a single thing.

The 60-minute loop stops at 13 locations around San Francisco, so you’ll have no problem finding everything you could possibly want to see and do in this fabulous city.

Highlights

Fisherman's Wharf

Located on the northern waterfront, this area is best known for Pier 39, with its great seafood restaurants, shopping and hosts of noisy sealions basking on the wooden docks! You’ll also find the San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park, the Cannery Shopping Center, Ghirardelli Square and ferries to one of ‘Frisco’s biggest attractions – Alcatraz.

Union Square

This grand and beautiful square is the heart of San Francisco’s central shopping district. Shop to your heart’s content at stores like Macy's, Tiffany's, Neiman Marcus, Victoria's Secret and Saks Fifth Avenue, as well as other trendy shops and boutiques. From here you can also take a ride one of the cable cars that this city is famous for.

Chinatown

This is the largest Chinatown outside Asia and takes a good few hours to explore, especially if you stay to sample some of the fabulous cuisine! It’s also a great place to pick up trinkets and souvenirs of your trip. Don’t miss the dragon gate on Grant Avenue at Bush Street - a gift from the government of the Republic of China (Taiwan).

North Beach

This is a primarily Italian neighbourhood and is filled with authentic Italian restaurants and cafes – stop for an espresso or let your appetite be tempted by the fabulous aromas of pizza and spaghetti!
North Beach is a great area for San Francisco sightseeing, conveniently located next to Chinatown, Fisherman's Wharf, Telegraph Hill, Russian Hill and the “Crookedest Street” (Lombard Street).
