The people that lived here turned these unique stone shapes into a city of homes and churches which the Turks eventually named Cappadocia (Fairy Chimneys).

During this 3-day, 2-night excursion, you’ll visit other places of interest including Kaymakli, Taubental and Uchisar – the underground cities which were once the hiding place of Christians in fear of their lives.

Other stops include the chance to see hand-made carpets being created at a carpet factory, a visit to the fascinating open air museum at Goreme and a visit to 13th century fortified structure of Sultan Han Caravanserai on the old ‘silk road’.
