Catanger Llama Trekking

Fresh air, exercise and the company of a friendly llama – Catanger Llama Trekking is one animal encounter you'll never forget!

Located in the beautiful village of Weedon Lois, Northamptonshire, there’s no better way to de-stress and enjoy the outdoors than leading a gentle llama along bridleways, farm tracks and country lanes.

Llamas are peaceful, inquisitive animals that will make a walk in the countryside or on the farm into a special and unforgettable experience.

You can’t actually ride the llamas, but these lovely pack animals will happily carry your rucksack whilst you lead them along at a comfortable pace of around 2 miles an hour.

Don’t forget to visit the 'Llamarabilia' gift shop and find out what goodies can be created from llama fibre!

You are welcome to have a picnic on the farm before or after your trek, or head to one of the local country inns.

Catanger Llama Trekking is not open to the general public, so advance booking is essential!

See the Baby Llamas!

Baby llamas are unbelievably cute! Catanger farm run a llama breeding programme, and during the summer months you can visit the mums with their babies.
