Korcula Day Trip from Dubrovnik
Korcula Day Trip from Dubrovnik
If you’ve ever been interested in the story of Marco Polo, the famous Venetian explorer, you might be interested to learn Korcula is probably his birthplace!
But Korcula isn’t just known for the people who left the island. It’s also known as the birthplace of fantastic stonemasons and shipbuilders, letting explorers like Polo find fame and fortune. You’ll enjoy walking down old-fashioned narrow cobbled streets, seeing beautiful churches and even palaces in this small Mediterranean island.
After the tour, your time is your own until it’s time to get back to the boat. Will you pick out a restaurant for a romantic lunch, go swimming, or sit on the beach? It’s up to you.
On the way back to Dubrovnik, stop by the wine cellars of Peljesac to try some Croatian wine. Please be aware this is for people aged 18 and above; under 18s will not be served alcohol.
