The beautiful Red Sea around Sharm El Sheikh is the perfect place to work on your scuba diving skills.
Ocean College, a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Centre is a BSAC premier resort and TDI technical instructor training facility.
Well respected in the world of diving, Ocean College has been operating in Sharm El Sheikh for more than 10 years.
Once you’ve been picked-up from your hotel, your first day begins with a theory course and pool session led by an experienced dive instructor.
Once you’re feeling confident with your diving, the following day brings two exciting open-water qualifying dives.
Wade in from the shore at Naama Bay, and you’ll get to dive amongst rainbow-coloured coral, swaying sea-sponges and shoals of shimmering tropical fish.
No need to feel nervous or worried at any time during your dives - your instructor will always be on-hand to help out and point out all the wonders of the undersea life – the true benefit of learning to dive!
When you’ve completed the two-day course, you’ll be fully qualified to dive anywhere in the world up to a depth of 12m accompanied by a dive professional. PLUS you can go on to upgrade to the full PADI Open Water certification at any time afterwards!

Ocean College PADI Scuba Dive Course - 2 Days – Key Info
- IMPORTANT:
- It is essential that you take your passport, or you may not be allowed onto the boat.
- If you are diving at Ras Mohamed, Thistlegorm or Dunraven you will also need the full Egyptian Tourist Visa.
- Duration:
- Two full days.
- Departure Location:
- Hotels in Sharm El Sheikh.
- What to Take:
- Please take a swimsuit, towel, water, sun-cream and money for lunch.
- Restrictions:

- You will be required to fill in a short medical questionnaire before travelling to Eygpt; this is essential before you are allowed to take the diving course. The details of this will be included in your e-ticket once you have made your booking.
- You must be able to float for 10 minutes and swim for 200m.
- A liability release must be signed by all divers (and also signed by a parent/guardian for under 18s).
- This experience is unsuitable for pregnant women.
