Easter at the Castle
This Easter meet legendary figures of Britain’s history from Robin hood to Elizabeth I, King Arthur to Henry VIII. Hear the ultimate tales that have made Britain great. Set against the backdrop of breathtaking shows, including the return of our spectacular Flight Of The Eagles show. Over the Easter weekend guests will be immersed in our electrifying living history encampments.
Highlights include:
- Robin Hood - Truly exploring one of the great British legends, our resident Bowman will be transformed into the man in green!
- Roaming Dragon Slayer - Meet the slayer of Dragons who will tell you tales of all of the Beasts that he has conquered and show you some of the keepsakes he has accumulated on his journeys, including; Dragon breath, teeth and eyeballs.
- King Henry VIII - One of England’s most powerful and interesting Monarchs bought to life in residence at Warwick Castle
- Queen Elizabeth I - England’s most revered Queen will be holding court in the Great Hall. She will not take kindly to peasants.
- Storyteller - A timeless character, our storyteller will roam the castle and grounds telling tales of Myth and Legends
- King Arthur on Horseback - Meet the mythological and legendary King of England.
- The Golden Egg Hunt - Our young adventurers (and some older ones too!) will be tasked to hunt the castle and grounds for our missing Golden egg. This will be a self guided worksheet based activity.
Plus, new entertainment over the Easter weekend including an enhanced Trebuchet show.

- A great host of events are taking place at the castle every day including jousting, jesting, fighting knights, falconry and the mighty Trebuchet – the world’s largest siege machine. You can even learn the art of archery with the Warwick Bowman.
- If that wasn’t enough the Ballista arrives, this colossal catapult is an authentic recreation of one of the deadliest military machines of all time!
The Castle Dungeon* – NEW
- The Castle Dungeons’ are opening at Easter, this frightening new experience takes you back to 1345, where you will be greeted by chanting monks, ‘the labyrinth of lost souls’ – a fantastic scary mirror maze and much more gore!
*The Castle Dungeons aren't included in our tickets and is an additional £7.50. Castle Dungeon tickets are only available to buy on the day.

The use of the audio guides was not clear, we'd seen half the castle by the time we'd worked out how to use it properly. Other than that lovely place, well preserved and very interesting.
