2012’s Best Bonfire Night Celebrations
It’s nearly November, and that can mean only one thing – BONFIRE NIGHT! Some of the biggest theme parks in the UK and Europe are celebrating with their own fireworks shows, and are even staying open later than usual in honour of this special occasion.
These are just some of the best Bonfire Night celebrations taking place in 2012:
If you’re visiting Disneyland Paris on the 5th, 7th and 9th of November, don’t miss the spectacular fireworks displays that will be lighting up the night sky above Lake Disney!
The park will be transformed with sparkling explosions, accompanied by enchanting music and incredible special effects. To top it all off, there’ll be a gigantic, floating bonfire in the middle of the lake and a special appearance by Mickey Mouse himself!
Alton Towers Resort will be celebrating the end of the Theme Park season with its much-loved fireworks display on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of November.
A stunning laser show will project a kaleidoscope of colours into the night sky above Britain’s Greatest Escape, with a sparkling fireworks display against the backdrop of the famous Towers. The park itself will be open until 9pm, so you can enjoy many of Alton Towers’ pulse-racing rides until late into the night!
Get ready for an altogether different kind of display as the LEGO Monster Fighters fire their 3D LEGO bricks over LEGOLAND – new for Bonfire Night 2012!
The celebrations will take place on 27th – 28th October and 2nd – 4th November, with LEGO build challenges, well-loved LEGOLAND characters and shows that will keep the whole family entertained. Plus, a selection of rides will stay open after the fireworks, so you can enjoy your favourite LEGOLAND rides after dark!
So get ready to wrap up in your cosiest clothes and head out for a night of blazing bonfires, fizzing fireworks and big bangs this November!
