The new official Harry Potter play, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is already taking the entire world by storm with sell-out crowds every night at London’s Palace Theatre.

Visit the Film Locations

If you’re going to have a Harry Potter weekend anywhere, London is the place to do it as many scenes from the films were actually shot here.

A Harry Potter Walking Tour is one of the best ways to make sure you see the most famous locations that are used in the films, from the entrance to the Ministry of Magic to Platform 9 ¾ at King’s Cross Station.

If walking tours aren’t your thing (or if the weather doesn’t allow it) there are Harry Potter Bus Tours of London which also show you the best filming locations, but – you guessed it – by bus!

Every Friday at 1pm, an extra 40 tickets are released for each performance the following week – known as ‘The Friday Forty’. So there’s still a chance you could get to see it and have the Harry Potter themed weekend of your dreams!
