See Costumes, Instruments & more from Britain’s Biggest Stars

You’ll get to see the actual outfits, performances and memorabilia of music legends like Freddie Mercury, Dusty Springfield, Adam Ant and even The Spice Girls!

Also on display are instruments played by some of the world’s most famous artists from Noel Gallagher to the Sex Pistols.

Experience what it’s like to be a pop star!

Always fancied yourself as a budding Paul Weller or Phil Collins, but never been unleashed on your favourite instrument? Now’s your chance, as you test your skills on musical instruments from drum kits to keyboards!

Teens will jump at the chance to find out what it’s like to be their favourite pop star in the vocal booth, and smaller children will love showing off their dance moves in the dance routines studio

Discover Music Through the Ages

Your journey takes you through 8 zones covering popular British music from the WWII era to the present day:

  • Zone 1 (1945-1962): Experience how British music began to flourish for our nation through Jazz and early Rock n Roll.
  • Zone 2 (The 1960s): Relive ‘The British Invasion’ lead by one of the biggest and best-loved bands The Beatles as we witness British Music invade America along with The Rolling Stones and more. Discover the first piece of Beatles memorabilia to their last live performance.
  • Zone 3 (1966-1970): Guitar music takes centre stage thanks to legends such as Jimi Hendrix. Experience how pop culture truly begins to express itself with new styles.
  • Zone 4 (1970 – 1975): The children of the revolution are here, and it’s “out with the flamboyant and in with the glam” as we explore artists such as David Bowie challenging stereotypes.
  • Zone 5 (1975 – 1985): If Punk is your thing, this one’s for you! Politically charged and more outspoken than ever, Punk battled New Romantics while Ska danced on as we see a more aggressive form of music coming to the fore.
  • Zone 6 (1985 – 1993): Remember Live Aid? Relive when our great nation and Best of British Music came together in support of a great cause. British Metal was also key with Motorhead at the helm.
  • Zone 7 (1993 – 2004): Get ready to spice up your life as we enter the iconic music period where Guitar music came back with a bang and pop caused 60s hysteria once again. The Spice Girls dominated the charts and Blur and Pulp were in a different class altogether.
  • Zone 8 (2004 – Present): Talent shows such as The X-Factor are born, and we still can’t escape the phenomenon!

After the main event, head to the Gift Store to browse an exclusive range of gifts and memorabilia, and finish in the Star Café where a selection of delicious snacks and meals are available.
