This must-visit leisure attraction and sports venue has an oval shaped rink measuring 60 metres from front to back and is 30 metres wide!
Ice-skating is great fun for all ages, and is the perfect activity for families or spending time with loved-ones and friends allowing you time to cool down away from the Dubai heat.
The Dubai Ice Rink is located on the Ground Level of The Dubai Mall. The Mall is also home to the Dubai Aquarium & Underwater Zoo boasting the largest suspended aquarium tank in the world! You can’t fail to have fun inbetween shopping whether you’re a seasoned skater or a complete first-timer.
So get ready to wrap up warm, strap on your skates and take to the ice!

- Visitors are encouraged to check the Dubai Ice Rink’s website before visiting for up to date session times for their chosen date to avoid disappointment
- Public sessions can take place between 10am – 1.15pm (subject to change)
- The Dubai Mall is open between 10am – 11pm.

Children:
- Children under 5 years old should be accompanied on the ice by a paying adult.
- Penguin skate aids are available to hire locally on a first come first served basis. They are designed to help young children to gain confidence with their first steps onto the ice.
- Doubled-bladed skates (Bob Skates) are also available to hire locally providing children with the sliding sensation whilst having increased stability.
- Snowman skating aids are also available to hire and are recommended for children over 12 years old as well as for adults.
Facilities:
- Lockers are available for customers skating at a cost of AED10 plus AED20 deposit.
- First Aid is located onsite.
- Helmets and pads can be purchased locally however visitors are welcome to bring their own protective equipment to use at Dubai Ice Rink.
Non-Skaters/Spectators:
Due to the limited space surrounding the ice rink, there is a charge of AED15 per spectator. One free of charge adult is allowed in to assist the children with their skates.
IMPORTANT:
Tickets are subject to 100% cancellation or amendment fees.
Accessibility:
The attraction is not suitable for visitors with mobility issues.
Dress Code:
- Whilst skating we recommend that you dress in comfortable warm clothing. We suggest you wear thick socks and gloves.
- Dubai has a dress code based on respect for the culture and religion of the UAE. Shoulder and knees should be covered in public places.
