Full Details

You’ll be collected from your Reykjavik hotel and begin the Blue Lagoon tour with a visit to the a unique geothermal Blue Lagoon spa, located in a lava field to the south of the capital.

The Blue Lagoon offers recreational options such as bathing in the milky blue-green waters of the lagoon or walking in the spectacular grounds. 

At midday, you’ll head back to Reykjavik and from there, travel on to the Golden Circle.

The afternoon Golden Circle tour begins with a visit to the geologically fascinating area of Þingvellir where the Icelandic parliament Alþingi was created in 930 AD. This ancient site was still used for Parliamentary meetings until as recently as the 20th century.

Moving on, you’ll visit the glacial Gullfoss waterfall and famous gushing hot springs of Geysir and Strokkur.

Finally, visit the ‘greenhouse’ village of Hveragerði before travelling over the picturesque mountainous heathlands of Hellisheiði on the return journey to your hotel in Reykjavik.

  • The admission fee to the Blue Lagoon is now included in the price.
  • As of 1st March 2018, only COMFORT tickets will be available; This will include: Silica Mud Mask, Towel hire, 1 free drink and Algae Mask.
  • Please note while children under 13 can travel free of charge on this tour up to 28th February 2018 we will need to reserve a place for them in the coach, so please remember to let us know how many children are travelling and how old they are.
  • IMPORTANT CHILD PRICES CHANGES - From 1st March 2018 there will be a charge for children aged 2-13; The charge will be approx £8 per child. If you wish to confirm a family booking including a child (2-13) and a youth (14-17) PLEASE CALL US TO BOOK!
  • Please note that tickets for the Blue Lagoon are only released around 90 days in advance.
  • Occasionally actual days of operation are subject to change. If this is the case we will endeavour to book a day as close as possible to your original preferred day. Should this not be acceptable a full refund will be made.
