Full Details

This exciting Colosseum tour gives you EXCLUSIVE ACCESS to areas of the Colosseum only recently opened to the public.

Explore tunnels where gladiators once prepared for fights and lions and tigers were confined before being hoisted up to the arena floor through trap doors.

Along with the more popular areas of the Colosseum, you’ll visit the third-tier level of the Colosseum which was recently opened for the first time in decades, and see the arena floor, areas which are not included on regular Colosseum tours.

The ancient Rome tour takes you to the Roman Forum and the “Via Sacra” or “Sacred Way”. This is the main pathway through the Forum that once reverberated with the sound of processions and festivals.

See the temple with the altar where Julius Caesar was cremated, visit moneylenders’ shops and the home of the famous Vestal Virgins.

Explore some of the city’s most ancient ruins, once lavish palaces and lush gardens, and enjoy some of the most beautiful views in the whole of Rome.

The tour ends at Palatine Hill, where legend tells Romulus and Remus were raised by a she-wolf and went on to battle for the right to build a city. Romulus won the battle, and the Eternal City of Rome was born.
