Find out how dozens of freshwater turtles and terrapins are rescued or confiscated by HM Customs after being imported into the country illegally, and given a new home at the Sea Life Centre.

Get hands-on in the Interactive Touchpools

Ever wondered what really lives in the rockpools around our coast? This is the place to find out (and possibly get a little wet)! You’ll get the chance to:

• Hold a crab (without getting nipped)
• Get a manicure from the resident cleaner shrimp!
• Find out what a sea squirt is - and how it squirts
• Touch a live starfish
• Spot the shelled creatures
• Interact with all the creatures using the underwater camera!
• Learn all about limpets (and everything else) from the centre’s expert team

Feeding time is the highlight of the day at Great Yarmouth Sea Life Centre – for the visitors and the animals!
