Itinerary:

DAY 1: Leave New York northbound, passing the beautiful Delaware Gap to Watkins Glen State Park set in the heart of the Finger Lakes region. Enjoy a walk through the Watkins Glen Canyon to see its waterfalls.

Continue the journey to Niagara Falls travelling past Seneca Lake and arriving late in the afternoon.

Tour the American side of the Niagara Falls which includes Goat Island and the Island At Night tour during which you’ll see the falls lit in a riot of rainbow colours, an unmissable sight.

Stay overnight at the Executive Inn Super 8 at Niagara Falls.

DAY 2: Listen out for the thundering of the falls as you leave the hotel in the morning.

See the cascades close-up from the Horse Shoe Falls. During the summer months (May to October) enjoy a cruise on the Maid of the Mist. In April, take the fascinating Scenic Tunnels tour.

Around noon you’ll head to the picturesque village of Niagara on the Lake, (May to October only) before moving on to Toronto - the biggest city in the biggest country in the world!

During the tour of Toronto, you’ll see the Parliament building, City Hall, Eaton Center and more.

Towards evening, you’ll leave Toronto eastbound, travelling alongside Lake Ontario, for evening arrival in the 1000 Islands area and overnight stay at the Gananoque Clarion Inn. (In April you’ll return to Niagara Falls for overnight at the Executive Inn Super 8).

DAY 3: Day three begins with a cruise along the St Laurence River which meanders through the 1000 Islands.

See the homes of the rich and famous who live on the 1000 Islands (May to October) or visit the Welland Canal Locks to see how man’s ingenuity allows huge ships to move up and down the Niagara escarpment (April).

After lunch, begin the journey to back to New York State, stopping along the way to bag a bargain at one of the large outlet malls. Arrive back in New York during the evening.
