This is a rare opportunity to see first-hand some of the most endangered and precious wildlife in the world.

The Zoo is spread across 100 acres of land and is home to over 800 species and more than 4000 animals.

You’ll learn about the unique environments these animals live in and discover more about the habitats and ecosystems of the Savannah, Tundra, Desert, Island and Tropical Rain Forest.

Just some of the creatures you might spot during your day include armadillos, apes, kiwis, komodo dragons, lizards and lions!

Giant Panda Research Centre at San Diego Zoo

One of the most popular attractions at San Diego Zoo is the Giant Panda Research Station. This is one of the few places in the US where you can find this endangered species and is the only zoo in the US that has successfully bred and reared healthy Giant Panda cubs.

San Diego Zoo’s Safari Park

Also available are tickets to the San Diego Zoo’s Safari Park which is located approximately 35 miles North of San Diego Zoo.

Kids Go FREE in October

During October children aged 0-11 receive FREE admission with a paying adult. The following tours are not included in the free admission:

• The Zoo's Guided Bus Tour and Skyfari are not included with Kids Free admission and must be purchased separately at the Zoo.
• The Safari Park's Africa Tram is not included with Kids Free admission and must be purchased separately at the Park.
