You can’t visit Turkey without trying one of its oldest customs – a visit to a genuine Turkish bath, or hammam, so different from the hotel spa version.
A tradition for centuries, a trip to a Turkish bath was a great way for friends and neighbours to catch up with local gossip and freshen up at the same time.
Although a wonderful experience at any time, a visit to a Turkish bath is best enjoyed at the beginning of your holiday to prepare your skin for a great tan by cleansing pores and exfoliating old skin cells.
You’ll be picked up from your hotel and taken to the Turkish bath where you’ll change into a swimsuit and head out to the main steam-filled, marble tiled room.
Once the heat has softened your skin, relax on the warm marble Gobek Tasi (belly stone) and enjoy an exfoliating body-scrub and wonderful, slippery soap massage.
You’ll leave the Turkish bath with glowing, healthy skin, feeling refreshed and thoroughly pampered!
The Turkish bath excursion includes round-trip transfers from hotels in Kemer, Antalya City, Kundu, Lara and Konyaalti.
