Birmingham Sea Life Centre has 60 fascinating displays including tortoise breeding, rockpools and tropical features. See over 1,000 beautiful, scary and fascinating creatures, from sea dragons to sharks, turtles to rays and many more. Get involved at the interactive Rockpool Experience, where you can cuddle a crab and stroke a starfish!
Walk through the UK’s only 360° Ocean Tunnel aquarium with tropical fish and sharks swimming above and all around you!
Meet the UK’s first Hammerhead sharks in the tropical ocean tank. This is the first time these strange and stunning creatures have been brought to a UK aquarium, so don't miss the opportunity to see them up-close! Enjoy fun and educational feeding demonstrations.
Don’t miss Sea Life’s incredible 4D cinema where you’ll experience the sights, sounds and smells of the ocean!

Directions:
Located right in the heart of Birmingham in Brindleyplace, on the Water's Edge.
Travelling by Car: M6 Jct 6 or M5 Jct 3 and follow signs for the city centre and the Arena Birmingham, the National SEA LIFE Centre is also well signposted on main routes into the city. Please note that dropping off is not permitted within Brindleyplace.
Parking: The best value car park, located a three minute walk away, is in the Barclaycard Arena South.
Disabled Guests: The centre is fully accessible to wheelchairs throughout. We advise all our disabled guests to use the Brindleyplace Car Park, Q-Park. Whilst it is not as good value as The Barclaycard Arena, it is easier to navigate to us from here.
