The EDF Energy London Eye is one of London’s most iconic landmarks, and this winter visitors to the Eye can enjoy special Christmas additions in the form of a Mulled Wine Experience and an open-air ice skating rink.

London Eye Mulled Wine Experience

There’s so much to see in London this Christmas – why not see it all from above while sipping a warm glass of mulled wine!

The Mulled Wine Experience on the London Eye is the perfect way to stay warm and cosy while you enjoy the stunning views of the London skyline as the city lights up in celebration of the festive period.

You and your loved ones can enjoy a delicious glass of warm mulled wine served by your host in the comfort of a London Eye pod (including non-alcoholic drinks for the kids) as you relax and take in the amazing scenery of England’s capital city.

As you reach the top of the 135m-high wheel, you can enjoy breathtaking views of up to 40km (25 miles) distance. This unparalleled view across the city as you’ve never seen it before is guaranteed to get you into the festive spirit.

Eyeskate – Ice Rink at the London Eye

This winter the London Eye has its very own open-air ice skating rink, rather brilliantly named “Eyeskate”. The rink is situated directly in front of the Eye on London’s South Bank, providing the perfect backdrop as winter skaters glide across the ice while overlooked by the world’s tallest cantilevered observation wheel.

Visitors to the ice rink will feel as if they’ve stepped into a winter wonderland as the rink, surrounding areas and the London Eye itself are decorated with Christmas-themed lighting, giving a wonderfully festive setting.

The London Eye is an essential part of any visit to London, and even more so throughout the festive season. Tickets for both the Mulled Wine Experience and the Eyeskate are available now at AttractionTix.
