One of the highlights of booking Disneyland Paris tickets is getting to meet Mickey, Minnie and the other Disney characters, getting their autographs and even having your photo taken with them!

If you want to meet the characters at Disneyland Paris, here are 6 of the best ways to do it:

Pick up a guide – and keep it!

When you first arrive, make sure you pick up a “Guide to the Parks”. This contains priceless information about what’s happening in both Disneyland parks at what times, so will help you plan your time based on where characters will be.

Staying at a Disney Hotel?

Make the most of the “Extra Magic Hours”, which is when the parks open an hour earlier for hotel guests only. Characters often turn up here especially for meet & greets with the extra magic hour guests!
The parks will be at their quietest at these times, so you’ll have the best chance of meeting characters with minimal crowds.

Princess Pavilion

Do the Disney Princesses top the list of characters you want to meet? Then this is the place to head! It’s best to get here as early as possible as the queues can become unbearable, although at the busiest times of year they operate a Fastpass-style reservation system, where you’re given a time to return rather than waiting.

Tip: It’s luck of the draw which princess you get to meet depending on who’s around at the time, but if you’ve already met certain princesses, they will do their best to ensure you get to meet someone new!

Stars ‘n’ Cars (Walt Disney Studios Park)

This a great way to meet lots of characters in one go! The characters come out in their cars and parade around a specially cordoned-off area, coming over to say hi to the guests and get photos, selfies and autographs.

Tip: Remember to be polite and not push other guests out of the way – the characters generally don’t interact with guests who are rude or pushy.

Book a Character Dining Experience

A character dining experience is one of the best options, as you’re guaranteed to meet characters and get some one-on-one time away from the crowds in the parks.

Character dining at Disneyland Paris includes:

Meet the Princesses at Auberge de Cendrillon

A fairytale dining experience in Cinderella’s banquet hall! Enjoy a meal of fine French cuisine as the Princes and Princesses waltz around the room, stopping at your table for chats, hugs and photos.
