Ever wondered where to eat in Disneyland Paris?

It might not be the first thing on your mind when you’re planning your holiday, but figuring out where to eat in Disneyland® Paris has caused more than a few headaches. Luckily, and maybe surprisingly, there are heaps of unique and wonderful dining experiences at your fingertips, and seeking them out can really make a big difference to your trip.

Since we don’t want you to miss out, we’ve done the hard work and personally tested (almost!) every restaurant in the park, collating the very best in this list. We’ve put these culinary gems into six categories, so you can find exactly what kind of meal you’re looking for:

Best Buffet
Best Fine Dining
Best Disney Experience
Best Fast Food
Best Restaurant If You Don’t Have a Reservation
Best Budget Food

Remember, most restaurants in Disneyland® Paris require a reservation, so the earlier you get your food schedule sorted, the better!

Note that prices and opening times are correct at time of publishing.

Best Buffet

Restaurant Agrabah Café

At this Aladdin-inspired buffet, great food is accompanied by a beautifully crafted – and uncannily authentic – Arabian dining experience. It is set in the Adventureland Bazaar: a recreation of traditional Middle Eastern streets, where pretty sandstone architecture is brought to life by colourful lamps and murals. It’s a truly fantastical setting, and it creates a wonderful atmosphere while you enjoy your meal.

The food is easily some of the best in all of Disneyland® Paris , predominantly based around Oriental and Middle Eastern cuisine. The hummus, kebabs and baklava are a happy escape from the western classics, and the blend of spices are a joy for your tastebuds. For the fussier eaters, there are still plenty of standard options including chicken, pasta and meatballs. For both food and ambience, Restaurant Agrabah Café is one of the best dining experiences you’re likely to find anywhere in the park.

Location: Adventureland Bazaar
Opening times: Mon – Sun 11:30am-10pm
Average meal cost: Adult €32.99 incl. drink, Child €17.99, incl. drink

Attraction-tips: Better make a reservation for this one, as it’ll be impossible to get in on the door. Like most Disneyland® Paris restaurants, you can do so up to 2 months before you arrive.

Best Fine Dining

Walt’s – An American Restaurant

Commonly considered the best restaurant in Disneyland® Paris , Walt’s is classy, full of character and steeped in that intangible Disney magic. The food is good, maybe even the best around, but frankly it takes a backseat to the ambiance, decor and unique experience of dining in one of its six themed rooms. Complete with a grand lobby, elegant furnishing, and consistent homages to its revered founder, Walt’s provides a thoroughly enjoyable meal in a setting that is impossible to replicate.

The menu is broad and full of French influence. All of its meat and seafood dishes come with lavish wine suggestions, and if you’re looking to indulge even further, you can combine the menu’s most luxurious delights in the three-course Signature Menu. This, of course, won’t be cheap. But if you want to experience true Walt Disney decadence, Walt’s – An American Restaurant is the place to do it.

Location: Main Street USA
Opening Times: Mon-Sun 12pm-4pm
Average meal cost: Set Menu (excl. drinks) €42.00

Attraction-tips: Take your time as you wander from the main lobby to your seats. The walls are draped with Disney history, and there’s something surreal about admiring photos of a young Walt Disney working on one of his masterpieces.

Best Disney Experience

Inventions

Pound for pound, Inventions offers the best Disney character experience from any restaurant in Disneyland® Paris . Located in the Disneyland Hotel, the charming buffet combines global cuisine with a chance to meet and interact with a plethora of colourful (though randomly assigned) Disney characters. While you enjoy the view over Disneyland® Paris Park, or admire the quirky details of the 19th-century-inspired décor, the characters make their way around the restaurant. Unlike the hurried interactions in the park, here the characters are more than happy to stick around, chat, make mischief, and take pictures. You’ll love it, your kids will love it, and it’s a delightfully memorable way to spend an afternoon or evening.

The restaurant is pricey, even for the park’s standards, but for the smile on your kids’ faces (and the surprisingly good grub), it’s considered by most as a must-do while you’re in Disneyland® Paris – and we agree!

Location: Disneyland Hotel
Opening times: Mon- Sun 12:30pm-2:30pm, 6pm-10:15pm
Average meal cost: Adult €65 excl. drink, Child €35 incl. drink

Attraction-tips: It should be no surprise that Inventions is one of the most popular restaurants in Disneyland® Paris, so it’s absolutely essential that you make a reservation! You can do so up to 2 months before you arrive, and frankly speaking, the earlier the better.

Best Fast Food

Cowboy Cookout Barbecue

Want a hearty lunch without the (time-consuming) formalities of table-service? For those who prefer to be in and out, Disneyland® Paris also has a selection of counter-service restaurants – and Cowboy Cookout Barbecue is the best. With its large, rustic interior set in the midst of Frontierland, it provides a warm, cowboy-themed atmosphere. While the restaurant stopped character dining in 2013, the experience remains authentic – and if anything is a little less chaotic because of it!

The menu is short and sweet, with a handful of set meals starring BBQ ribs, smoked chicken, sausages and burgers. But vegetarians fear not! A little further down the menu is the Veggie Burger, which we can confirm is a perfectly tasty alternative!

Location: Cottonwood Creek Ranch, Frontierland
Opening times: Mon-Sun 11:30am-5pm
Average meal cost: Adult €14.99 incl. drink, Child €8.99 incl. drink

Attraction-tips: If you can, arrive as close to opening time as possible (11:30am), otherwise queues can build and your fast food might not be so fast.

Best Restaurant If You Don’t Have a Reservation

Rainforest Cafe

Even though it’s the only table-service restaurant in Disney Village that doesn’t take reservations, Rainforest Cafe isn’t just a haven for stragglers. It’s a fully-fledged experience, with a rainforest theme that pulls no punches. From the moment you step inside you’re immersed in the sounds of the forest; the rustle of insects, the cry of monkeys and elephants, and every so often, booming thunder and lightning. Some of the animals are animatronic, and they become your noisy neighbours as you dig in to your meal.

The menu doesn’t stray far from the typical Disneyland® Paris formula of meat, burgers and pasta – with a slight Mexican influence. While not particularly daring, the food is absolutely good enough for you to enjoy the experience, which is crowned by the atmosphere. It’ll be pricey, but you pay for both the walk-in convenience and the impeccably-executed theme.

Location: Disney Village
Opening times: Mon-Sun 11:30am-11pm (closes midnight Saturday)
Average meal cost: Adult €23.99 excl. drink, Child €14.99 incl. drink

Attraction-tips: We recommend saving the Rainforest Cafe for an evening meal after a long day at the park. It stays open much later than most other restaurants, and because you don’t have to book, it’s nice to just turn up and relax amongst the trees.

Best Budget Food

Earl of Sandwich

When you just need some cheap, tasty food to rely on, you can’t go wrong with Earl of Sandwich. It isn’t flashy, nor Disney themed, but you’ll get a good sandwich and save a few Euros while you’re at it. At just €6.95 for a hot sandwich, or €7.95 for a large salad, the prices absolutely pale in comparison to everything else in the park aside from McDonalds (which also isn’t a terrible option if you’re on a budget).

The best thing is that you don’t have to sacrifice quality of food. Its signature sandwiches and wraps are packed with filling and always delicious.

Discount: You can currently get $3 off Earl of Sandwich (and 15% off Planet Hollywood) when you book your Disneyland Paris Tickets from Attractiontix.

Location: Disney Village
Opening times: Mon-Sun 8:30am-11:30pm
Average meal cost: €6.95 excl. drink

Attraction-tips: Save even more money at Disneyland® Paris by topping up on snacks and reduce the number of restaurants you visit. There’s a large shopping mall called Val d’Europe Shopping Centre just a train stop away from the park, which is a great place to get cheap supplies. There’s also a snack shop at the Marne-la-Vallée Chessy train station, and a useful petrol garage near to Sequia lodge.
