What to do in Mallorca?
Mallorca is one of Spain's most celebrated Balearic Islands - a place where dramatic limestone mountains, sheltered Mediterranean coves, vibrant beach resorts, and centuries of fascinating history all come together in one extraordinary destination. Capital Palma is home to the magnificent 13th-century Santa María Cathedral, the Moorish Almudaina royal palace, and a buzzing nightlife scene that draws visitors from across Europe. Beyond the capital, stone-built villages such as Pollença - famous for its art galleries and summer music festival - and the hillside village of Fornalutx, surrounded by citrus plantations, offer a quieter and deeply beautiful side to the island. And when the sun goes down, Mallorca comes alive with some of the most extraordinary entertainment in the Mediterranean - including Pirates Adventure, voted the island's number one show.
