Paris Métro:
The Paris Métro is the easiest and most convenient way to navigate the city. Lines are identified by number - with the exception of lines 3bis and 7bis - and are colour-coded on network maps. The direction of travel on each line is shown by the name of the terminus station. With stations throughout the city, the Métro puts virtually every Paris attraction within easy reach.
By Bus:
A single bus fare costs the same as a Métro ride and covers one non-transferable journey within Paris. For transfers between buses or from bus to Métro, a Ticket t+ allows transfers within 90 minutes of first validation. Tickets can be purchased from machines in Métro stations or in books of 10 for a discount. You can also pay the driver directly with exact change.
By RER Train:
The RER suburban railway network connects Paris with key destinations beyond the city centre. Lines are identified by letters rather than numbers. Key routes include Line A - connecting Disneyland® Paris in the east with central Paris and the Grande Arche at La Défense - and Line C, which links the Left Bank with the Palace of Versailles. RER trains also connect central Paris with Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports.
