Our Disneyland® Paris Disney Music Festival Diaries

Magic, Music & Mickey Ears: Our Disneyland® Paris Disney Music Festival Diaries

What do you get when you mix high-energy performances, surprise Character moments, and a whole lot of magic? The Disney Music Festival at Disneyland® Paris, of course!

Running until 7th September, this limited-time event transforms both Disneyland® Park and Walt Disney Studios® Park into a vibrant musical celebration with live performances, exclusive shows, musical parades, and Characters like you’ve never seen them before.

We sent some of our team to experience it all first-hand — here’s what they had to say about their music-filled, memory-making adventure:

Q: What were your highlights from the Disney Music Festival?
A: “Definitely seeing all the Characters having a little boogie in front of us – my personal favourite was Stitch dressed up as Elvis!”

There’s nothing quite like watching your favourite Disney Characters hit the dancefloor! From Mickey and Minnie to Stitch in his sparkly best, the energy was infectious.

Q: Was there a specific moment during the festival that felt really magical for you?
A: “Cliché as it may sound, the magic was seeing everyone’s reaction. Everyone’s face, regardless of their age, just simply lit up with real childlike joy throughout all the performances. Oh, and Timon’s Matadance!”

Sometimes, it’s not just the music — it’s the joy on everyone’s faces that makes the experience unforgettable.

! Magical Must-Do: Champagne + Fireworks !

Q: Any personal Disneyland® Paris recommendations you’d share with visitors?
A: “I’d recommend a Disneyland® Paris champagne flute (or two!) to watch the fireworks parade. While it is an add-on you have to purchase, you can keep the flute as memorabilia, so it’s great value for money!”

A sip of bubbly and a sky full of colour? Now that’s how you end a Disney day.

Q: Now that you’ve been, give us your suggested Disneyland® Paris must-dos?
A: “Do, at least, one day at each Park, making sure to squeeze in as much magic as possible through the parades and shows! I’d recommend buying Disney Premier Access which allows you to fast track your favourite rides (I got on Star Wars™ Hyperspace Mountain over and over again!). Spend all your time between rides roaming around finding the most delicious treats – a Mickey waffle, crepe, hot dog – you name it, they’re all worth it!”

Whether you’re chasing thrills or snacks (or both), smart planning = more magic.

Q: What are your top 3 must-do attractions?
A:

  1. “Star Wars™ Hyperspace Mountain – just speaks for itself, pure thrills!”

  2. “Avengers Assemble: Flight Force – can you tell I live for the thrills yet?”

  3. “Crush’s Coaster – don’t be fooled by the Nemo theme; it’ll get the blood pumping!”

Thrill-seekers, take note — these rides will have your heart racing in the best way.

Q: Was this your first time at Disneyland® Paris? Was there anything that surprised you about the Parks?
A: “Yep, first time! The Disney Tales of Magic fireworks show honestly blew me away – the magic is something you can’t really explain until you see it with your own eyes!”

You never forget your first Disney fireworks show — especially when the night sky comes alive with lights, projections, and your favourite songs.

Q: Any fun stories or surprise encounters?
A: “The Character breakfast was really good fun, even for grown-ups! I’d recommend adding it on as it’s a great way to meet beloved Characters in a relaxed setting (and with delicious food!).”

Start your day the magical way — croissants, cuddles, and Characters? Yes, please.
