Racing Eras
Wander through Silverstone's incredible Racing Eras galleries spanning the 40s-60s, 70s-80s, and 90s through to modern day. It is here that you can admire some of the most significant cars and motorcycles to have competed and won at Silverstone - from sportscar and touring car classics to iconic MotoGP and Formula 1 machines. The collection also features race suits and helmets from the 1950s through to today, including Lewis Hamilton's suit, boots, and lid - a truly extraordinary piece of motorsport history.
The Ultimate Lap
The perfect finale to your Silverstone Museum visit - The Ultimate Lap takes you on a breathtaking journey through Silverstone's storied history in an immersive end show experience. Relive some of the greatest moments ever witnessed at the circuit in truly spectacular fashion. Please note this experience may not be suitable for guests who suffer from motion sickness or are sensitive to loud noises - please inform a member of staff if you would like to skip this section.
Sim Suite
Put your driving skills to the test in the state-of-the-art Sim Suite - a 30-minute racing simulator experience where you can choose from a range of open and closed wheel cars and take on the Silverstone circuit. With fully customisable settings, the Sim Suite is suitable for everyone from casual visitors to experienced sim racers.

Starting Grid

Getting There:
Silverstone Museum is located at the iconic Silverstone Circuit, Northamptonshire. Follow signs to Silverstone Circuit and then follow the yellow signs for access to the car park from Dadford Road. Free car parking is available in car park 49, directly in front of the building.

Please note that if you are visiting on a major event weekend when a race meeting ticket is compulsory, you will be directed to the main public car parks which will not be immediately adjacent to the building.
Accessibility:
Silverstone Museum is fully wheelchair accessible and features automatic doors, baby change facilities, a Changing Places Toilet, accessible toilets, customer help points, dedicated seating, disabled parking, a lift, and a Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan service.
Please let a member of staff know on arrival if you would like to discuss any additional support during your visit. A Duty Manager is available to go through a personal emergency evacuation plan with you on arrival if required.

Photography and video footage with handheld cameras and mobile devices is permitted in all areas of the museum for personal use, with the exception of the entrance tunnel and end show. Filming with tripods and specialist photographic equipment is not permitted.

Bags over 20 litres, glass bottles and containers, BBQs, restricted and illegal substances, offensive weapons, drones or remote-controlled aircraft, lasers, fireworks, smoke canisters, tents and shelters, powered scooters (excluding disability scooters), electric cycles, hoverboards, sun parasols, alcohol, animals and pets (except guide dogs), bicycles, and any items deemed dangerous, offensive, or unsuitable.

It’s easy to find Silverstone Interactive Museum, just follow signs to Silverstone Circuit.
Please then follow the yellow signs with a blue dot for access into the car park from the Dadford road.
