Cheese and Wine Tasting Lunch – Full Details

This Wine and Cheese tasting lunch is a fun and different way to spend a meal in Paris, instead of going to yet another restaurant.

While you’re eating and drinking you’ll also be learning too, as your sommelier explains why different cheeses work best with different wines – and plenty more!

The tasting starts at noon in the beautiful tasting room, where you’ll taste five different wines (including a Champagne) from five different regions of France.

While you indulge in two of France’s best delicacies, you’ll learn how to read a French wine label, how to pair wine with food and also about France’s main wine regions.

The fun and informative presentation will be chiefly focused on wine, however your English-speaking sommelier will also suggest pairings and explain why some cheeses would work better with certain wines.

A day spent walking around Paris can definitely create an appetite, so the servings of wine and cheese are always generous!

Plus there’ll also be some charcuterie (smoked ham from the South West of France and saucisson from Corsica) to complement the meal, as well as bread baskets from the preferred bakery of the French President!
