With its wonderful architecture, quaint shops and top-quality restaurants and pubs lining the medieval streets, Stratford-upon-Avon’s many attractions are a stone’s throw from the River Avon and the beautiful Warwickshire countryside.
The open-top buses stop at all of the town’s major attractions where you can hop off and on at your leisure as many times as you like!
Many of the buses have a live guide who are full of hilarious and fascinating stories about the sights you’ll see. Plus there’s a recorded “Kid’s Commentary” to keep the little ones entertained!
Re-trace Shakespeare’s footsteps in Stratford-upon-Avon
The CitySightseeing buses stop off close to all of the major Shakespeare attractions:
- Discover the significant imprint that the dramatist has left on the area even to this day, having been brought up and schooled in the town.
- Visit the Shakespeare Birthplace Houses, five 16-century houses which all had special significance in his life
- Stroll around the beautiful Holy Trinity Church, where Shakespeare was buried in 1616.
