Eyeskate at the London Eye

Step into a winter wonderland at the London Eye’s very own open-air ice skating rink!

Take to the ice at the aptly named “Eyeskate”, situated directly in front of the Eye on London's South Bank, where twinkling lights adorn the trees and the huge wheel provides the perfect backdrop for this fantastic festive experience. Don’t miss it!

Wrap up warm and take to the ice in the glorious shadow of the world’s tallest cantilevered observation wheel.

By day you can enjoy the breathtaking views as the Eye provides the perfect backdrop to winter skaters gliding across the ice.

By night, the surrounding areas and the London Eye itself are decorated with festive lighting, for the perfect atmosphere to have some winter fun with friends, family or colleagues.

Availability:

  • Daily from the 14th November 2015 until the 3rd January 2016  
  • Please note that the Ice Rink is closed on Christmas Day, and will only operate until 5pm on Christmas Eve and until 3pm on New Year's Eve.

Skate Times:

  • Eyeskate is open from 10am to 9pm.
  • Off Peak times are Monday to Friday 10am – 3pm
  • Peak times are Monday to Friday 4pm – 9pm & Saturdays and Sundays (all day).

Ticket confirmation:

  • After booking you’ll receive an initial confirmation from us immediately
  • We will then send your booking details to our supplier to confirm availability
  • Within 48 hours we will email you your confirmation, which will include any further information - including your skate time. 

Restrictions:

  • Children under the age of 4 are not permitted on the ice
  • All children under the age of 8 must be accompanied on the ice by an adult at all times
  • Stabilising seals are available for younger children (subject to availability)

Skate Hire:

Skate hire is included with your tickets, however you are welcome to bring your own if you wish!

Duration:

  • Each session is approx. 45 minutes.
  • Please ensure you arrive at least 15 minutes before your booked time slot
