The Queen’s Gallery at Buckingham Palace is a permanent space dedicated to changing exhibitions of items from the Royal Collection; the wide-ranging collection of art and treasures held in trust by The Queen for the Nation.
The current exhibition, In Fine Style: The Art of Tudor and Stuart Fashion, explores the sumptuous costume of British monarchs and their court during the 16th and 17th centuries through portraits in the Royal Collection.
Including works by Hans Holbein the Younger, Nicholas Hilliard and Van Dyck, the exhibition brings together over 60 paintings, as well as drawings, garments, jewellery, accessories and armour.
