Midsummer Carnival

A CARNIVAL OF CELEBRATION - Step back in time to Elizabethan England when minstrels played and jesters entertained. Join us for a festival fit for royalty as the court of Elizabeth I takes over the castle grounds for a celebration of colour, pageantry and spectacle.
Biggest summer in history
23rd July – 3rd September
Unleash Summer - Over a thousand years in the making, it’s the biggest summer in history at Warwick Castle. From incredible evening events to action-packed days, it’s sure to be a summer that will go down in history! For a limited time only, Horrible Histories®- Wicked Warwick returns to reveal the terrible truth behind the turrets.
The Bowman
Behold arrows firing before you as the resident Bowman demonstrates his incredible archery skills, in the shadow of medieval turrets and ramparts.
The Falconer's Quest*
Witness more than 60 high-flying birds soar across the skies, in the UK’s largest bird of prey show; The Falconer’s Quest. This dramatic, dynamic display of aerial acrobatics is set in a stunning location on the banks of the River Avon.

This Summer, feel the ROAR of the crowd as these perilous stunt riders and fearless jousters get your heart GALLOPING. Experience the story in live-action and witness spectacular stunts, tricks and showmanship with special effects. Know Before You Go
Advanced booking is a must- to ensure the safety of all visitors there will be a daily limit on the number of people allowed in the grounds. Strict social distancing measures will be in place along with other precautions to ensure your safety such as temperature checks upon arrival, new menus in the restaurants, etc.
As part of a phased reopening, the vast majority of our attractions will be open. A small number will be closed but this is constantly being reviewed in line with Government guidance.
All guests must wear a face mask during their visit.
Please use contactless payment rather than cash.
Your temperature will be checked upon arrival and visitors with a temperature above 37.8F will be refused entry and offered to change the date of their tickets.

Daily except Christmas Day.

Open from 10am. Closing times vary depending on the season so please call the Castle if you need to check.
Duration of Visit:
You are free to stay from opening to closing time!
Children:
Children under the age of 3 enter the castle for free!
Facilities:
There are plenty of restaurants, cafés, food stalls and gift shops at Warwick Castle.
