Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi Just Got Bigger…

There’s something new making waves on Yas Island. From 1 July 2025, Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi is officially opening the gates to its brand-new expansion — and it’s a big one. With over 20 new rides, slides, and splash zones, the park is taking things to the next level.

Covering more than 13,000 square metres, the expansion brings a whole new area to explore, built around a fresh “Lost City” theme. It continues the story of The Legend of the Lost Pearl, adding a playful sense of mystery, hidden passageways, and surprise water adventures.

What’s New?

The new rides have something for everyone — from family-friendly splash zones to all-out thrill slides. Here are a few highlights:

✅ Al Falaj Race – A side-by-side dueling tube raft ride, the first of its kind in the region. Expect speed, competition, and plenty of splash.

✅ Bahamut’s Rage – A high-thrill log flume ride with dramatic drops and tight turns.

✅ Al Sahel Junior – A mini zero-gravity boomerango, designed for younger riders but packed with excitement.

✅ Dawwama Junior – A kid-sized tornado ride, echoing one of the park’s most popular attractions.

✅ Al Mafras & Red Dunes – Slides inspired by desert landscapes, offering fast-paced twists and splashy landings.

✅ Mataha Madness & Sadaf Swirl – Two brand-new spinning, swirling experiences.

✅ Bandit’s Playground – A splash-filled, interactive play zone for younger guests, located in the new Bandit’s Village.

Alongside all the new rides, there’s also a new dining spot to check out — perfect for refuelling between slides.
