Sorrento – Getting Around

Bus
  • Sorrento’s local bus company EAV runs a frequent service around Sorrento and to other surrounding towns.
  • If you’re looking to travel further out of Sorrento to other resorts such as Positano and Amalfi then the SITA bus company runs from outside the Sorrento railway station.
Train
Train travel in Sorrento is an easy and cheap way to get around. A daily service runs between Sorrento and Naples with stops at other major resorts.
Car
  • With the steep streets of Sorrento, car hire may be a preferable option if you plan on exploring Sorrento and possibly some other surrounding towns.
  • Both large international car rental companies and smaller local ones can be found around Sorrento.
Taxi
