Warwick Castle Tickets – Intro

Enjoy a visit to award-winning Warwick Castle, filled to the turrets with tales of over 1,000 years of treachery and torture, passion and power as well as fascinating people, times and events!

Warwick Castle Tickets – Full Details

Don’t miss a visit to Warwick Castle, where you’ll experience preparations for battle, feel the weight of a sword and get a soldier’s eye view from beneath a battle helmet...

See lavishly decorated State Rooms, watch as a household prepares for a Victorian party and discover how electricity was generated over 100 years ago to light up the Castle.

Your Warwick Castle tickets also include entry to the 60 acres of landscaped grounds and gardens, which include the beautiful Peacock Garden and Conservatory, the Victorian Rose Garden and Pageant Field.

Throughout the year there is a fantastic programme of events including birds of prey, jousting and the world’s largest trebuchet in action.

Warwick Castle UNLOCKED!

Four ancient rooms are being opened for the first time at Warwick Castle, unlocking defining chapters in the Castle’s story of battle, siege, murder, power struggles and hauntings.

Barbican Battlements – The Fourteenth Century

Built to protect the entrance to the Castle, this ancient room includes deadly murder holes through which boiling tar and human waste were poured on attacking forces.

Bear Tower – The Fifteenth Century:

In heraldry, a bear represents courage – but are you brave enough to venture into the never-seen-before tower with its recently unearthed bear pit?

Watergate Tower – The Sixteenth Century:

Reputedly haunted by the ghost of Sir Fulke Greville - playwright, poet, Member of Parliament...and victim of a gruesome murder. Fulke’s restless spirit is said to roam this tower – just one reason that few people in living memory have ventured inside.

Guards’ Room – The Seventeenth Century:

This room at the top of Guy’s Tower was remodelled to fire cannons rather than arrows. Experience the musty, smoky living conditions the guards endured as they awaited attack.

Daily Events

Exciting events take place every day at Warwick Castle, including jousting, jesting, fighting knights, falconry and the mighty Trebuchet – the world’s largest siege machine!

You can even learn the art of archery with the Warwick Bowman.

The colossal Ballista catapult is an authentic recreation of one of the deadliest military machines of all time!

The Castle Dungeon*

Live actors and special effects bring Warwick’s darkest history to life in The Castle Dungeons. This thrilling new experience transports guests back to 1345 when Warwick was gripped by the plague.

Merlin - The Dragon Tower*

Experience the excitement of Merlin’s world at first hand in ‘The Dragon Tower’ a brand new experience inspired by the hit BBC One family drama. You’ll be transported to the heart of Camelot to discover the secrets that are hidden deep inside the Tower before your ultimate encounter with the Great Dragon himself.

*The Castle Dungeons and Merlin - The Dragon Tower are not included in this ticket. Tickets to these attractions are available at an additional price on the day.
