Bombay Sapphire Distillery Tour
Self-guided Bombay Sapphire Distillery Tour
Are you a gin lover? Book the Bombay Sapphire Distillery Tour, explore the secrets behind the unmistakably pure taste of Bombay Sapphire Gin and end your visit with a luxurious complementary cocktail at the Mill Bar.
The Bombay Sapphire Distillery is based in the historical Laverstoke Mill, inside a beautiful conservation area in rural Hampshire, along the River Test. The Mill has over 1000 years’ history, including over 200 years of producing note paper for the Bank of England and the British Empire under its belt.
Alongside the gorgeous Victorian and Georgian buildings of the Laverstoke Milll, you will also have the opportunity to discover the newly-built sustainable glasshouses, designed by Thomas Heatherwick during the huge renovation, carried out before the gin factory opened in 2014. Use the opportunity to learn about the 10 specially selected botanicals, which give Bombay Sapphire Gin its crisp and elegant taste.
Get an inside look at the unique vapour-infusion distillation process that takes place in the Dakin Still House and prepare to be impressed by the technique required to achieve purity! And ladies, no heels allowed in the distillery!
