Cirque Du Soleil AMALUNA – PortAventura

For 7 weeks only you can witness the incredible, world-famous Cirque du Soleil Amaluna at PortAventura!

Amaluna arrives at PortAventura for the Summer of 2015, with all the spectacular performances and astounding feats that characterise this more-than-a-circus show.

Amaluna – the show

Welcome to a mysterious island governed by goddesses and guided by the cycles of the moon.

Amaluna tells an epic and emotional story of the love between the daughter of Queen Prospera and a brave young suitor who is brought to the island by a storm.

In a blaze of colour, music, lighting, characters and spectacular sets, the pair face a series of demanding trials before they can come together in mutual harmony.

Highlighting the incredible capabilities of the human body in all its splendour and fragility, Cirque du Soleil will have you on the edge of your seat throughout the performance.

Availability:

Location:

  • Amaluna is located at the The Grand Chapiteau at PortAventura theme Park.
  • The venue seats over 2,600 spectators per performance with an adjoining entrance tent.
  • The Grand Chapiteau is a temporary structure which is supported by four masts. All seats are cushioned with backs.

Performance Times:

  • Shows are at 6pm and 9.30pm
  • There is no performance on Mondays.
  • Please Note: The Entrance Tents open 45 minutes prior to show time. The Grand Chapiteau opens ½ hour before show time.

Show Duration:

2 hours (including an intermission)

Latecomers:

The show starts on time and latecomers will admitted only during a suitable break in the performance or at the discretion of the Head Usher. Late-coming wheelchair-users can only be admitted at the intermission.

Accessibility:

The Grand Chapiteau is accessible for wheelchair-users.

Food & Drinks:

Popcorn, sweets and other snacks are available for purchase inside the Entrance Tents along with a variety of beverages. Beer and wine are also available for purchase for those aged over 18 at the food & beverage counters.

  • Amaluna Cirque Du Soleil is located at PortAventura theme park
  • PortAventura is just over an hour from Barcelona airport and only fifteen minutes from Reus airport.
  • The full address is Avinguda de l'Alcalde Pere Molas, km 2, 43840 Vila-seca, Salou, Tarragona, Spain.
  • The park has also has its own train station and a direct exit off the AP-7 highway – Exit 35.
