Discover the city where the famous novel A Christmas Carol was set on this guided walking tour of the London Christmas Markets!

Your guide will meet you outside the Tube Station in Covent Garden, kicking off the tour at the Covent Garden market and exploring famous historic sites along its winding cobblestone streets.

Along the way you’ll discover festive sights like London’s world-famous holiday lights before arriving at the markets in Leicester and Trafalgar squares, decked out in full Christmas decorations.

Your guide – an expert on London (and Christmas!) - will share some fun festive facts and stories, like the true story behind the “real” Santa Claus (close your ears if you don’t want to know!)

Learn little-known facts about one of London’s most famous Christmas characters, Ebenezer Scrooge, and some hilarious history of Christmas in Victorian times.

Christmas Markets just aren’t the same without something hot and alcoholic to keep you warm on the inside, so you’ll stop off for mulled wine or cider (non-alcoholic drinks also available) accompanied by a mince pie at one of Charles Dickens’ favourite pubs.

Afterwards you’ll head down to cross the River Thames – don’t miss the amazing photo opportunities of Big Ben and the London Eye at night!
