Blackpool Pleasure Beach

Conjure up fun-filled family holidays again with a trip to Blackpool Pleasure Beach! The UK’s best-loved themepark was first opened in Victorian times and has gone from strength to strength with a few new rides since then.

Now it has The Big One, the highest rollercoaster in the UK, the classic racing rollercoaster Grand National, plus the UK’s only Nickelodeon Land! With 12 rides inspired by the channel’s most popular cartoons like SpongeBob SquarePants, Avatar: The Last Airbender and Dora the Explorer, your little ones will be spoilt for choice.

Thrillseekers will love Valhalla, a dark water ride inspired by Viking life, or a unique rollercoaster where you control how much you spin, in the new Red Arrows Skyforce.

The whole family can enjoy a ride together on the Teacups, Carousel or the Wallace and Gromit Thrill-O-Matic, and teens can head to the Ghost Train for a scare.

With award-winning shows, adventure golf, Ripley’s Believe it or Not museum, great restaurants and even ice-skating* at the purpose-built arena, you can easily spend all day at Blackpool Pleasure Beach.

See our exclusive Adventure Package for one-ticket access to rides, Ripley’s and adventure golf!

*A separate ticket is required for Ripley’s, Adventure Golf and ice-skating at the arena.

Suitable for:
  • Infants
  • Families

Nick Or Treat? Well we've got both!

21-22 & 28-30 October 2017 – (included in the general admission ticket)

Head on down to Nickelodeon Land each Saturday and Sunday during Halloween Half term and of course Halloween Monday 30th October for some Trick or Treating fun!

Feeling spooky? Guests in fancy dress can Trick or Treat with Team Nick!

Vampire Pleasure Beach

Saturday 28 October 2017 – (included in the general admission ticket)

Vampires are taking over Blackpool Pleasure Beach

We are inviting all our guests to arrive in their creepiest and scariest costumes all day Saturday with competitions for best costumes for children and adults. We’re also giving your favourite characters a monstrous makeover too.

From 4.00pm the park will transform into a ghastly and spine-chilling place where hordes of zombies and vampires have broken free from their prison in the catacombs of Blackpool Pleasure Beach and can be found roaming the park in search for victims.

Keep your wits about you for the towering shadows of the stilt walking fire eaters making their way around the park. Live bands will also be playing from 4.00pm in our FY4 area around the spooktacular Dancing Fountains.

Looking for an extra frightening experience? Try to find your way through the Horror Maze where gruesome guys and ghouls are around every corner.

All of this and a hair-raising evening of Late Night Riding and spectacular display of fireworks at 10.00pm.

If you attend in fancy dress, adults receive a free alcoholic Vampire Blood Slush Cocktail and children receive a non-alcoholic Vampire Blood Slush Cocktail.

Pumpkin Carving and Face Painting

27-29 October 2017 – (included in the general admission ticket)

We can’t have Halloween without pumpkin carving, so we’ll have an amazing pumpkin carver on Friday 27th October, Saturday 28th October and Sunday 29th October in the Sculpture Gardens.

He’s scarily good!

If you want to join in the fearsome fun while at Pleasure Beach, you can also find one of our freaky face painters who can give you a terribly good makeover.

WATCH OUT! Look out for scarecrows, pumpkins and abandoned coffins – or are they abandoned? Be very aware of some unwelcome visitors locked behind closed doors.

The question is, can the doors hold them? While you are visiting, watch for Lougarock the Werewolf and the terrifying curse of Scepticemus! Keep an eye out for these creepy visitors as you never know where they might turn up.

If you’re looking for height, take a trip up to the top of the tallest coaster in the UK—the Big One. And of course we can’t miss out the iconic wooden rollercoaster that signifies the Pleasure Beach, the Big Dipper.

Family Rides:

Travel into the famous book with your favourite characters from Lewis Carrol’s classic Alice in Wonderland on the Alice ride! Why not take to the skies in our rocket-themed Flying Machines? Or take part in a horse race with a difference riding the unusual Derby Racer…

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best price for tickets I bought the tickets for a family day out. It was a good day but spoilt by the rides letting the better off push in. Really annoys me struggling to pay for a family day out only to feel like a peasant because we can't afford to push in. It's totally wrong.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic day Hadn't been to bppb for about 10 years so decided to go as we knew the weather was good. We found it a great day as all the rides were in operation and que times were great. Highlight was valhalah. The longest que was about 15 mins not 120 mins like other parks. The park itself was clean as were all toilets we used throughout the day. Loved bppb and will definitely visit next year when the new ride opens.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fantastic day out We had a great day bought tickets easily and food in the pizza place at an extra cost with ticket however was disappointed to realise it would have been cheaper to pay for food on the day rather than in advance as we did so felt a bit conned. The restaurant was also very cold (the one in Nickelodeon land) but apart from that was great day thanks.
