Les Epesses is 12 centuries of history, in a pretty town in the Vendée bocage. But if its name means nothing to you, know that it is host to one of the biggest tourist sites in Vendée and France: Le Puy du Fou! It was in 1978 that this incredible adventure began, under the impetus of Philippe de Villiers, who was also behind the Vendée Globe.
