9/11 Memorial Tour
A visit to Ground Zero is an essential part of any first-time visit to New York, and the best way to gain a deeper understanding of the tragic events of 9/11.
Explore the site of Ground Zero, where New York’s World Trade Center “Twin Towers” once dominated the Manhattan skyline.
Learn the sobering facts and hear the accounts of that sunny September morning which was to change the face of America.
You’ll also be captivated by the uplifting stories of heroism and hope, including that of the Survivor Tree which was gradually nursed back to life after the attacks.
Discover some of the sites surrounding Ground Zero itself, including the American Express Eleven Tears Memorial, Winter Garden and St Paul’s Chapel.
Your expert tour guide will be happy to answer any questions you might have.
Visit the twin reflecting pools which bear the names of almost 3,000 people who lost their lives that day. These are nearly an acre in size and feature the largest man-made waterfalls in North America.
Spend up to an hour at the 9/11 Memorial which today stands on the very spot where the twin towers once stood, and where you can pay tribute to the lives lost.
