Chichen Itza by Mayaland
Visit Chichen Itza, one of the most famous archaeological sites in the world, once the capital of the ancient Mayan civilisation and recently designated one of the Seven Modern Wonders of the World!
Steeped in a mysterious history of human sacrifice, astrological discovery and bloody rituals, the Chichen Itza site was once the very centre of the Mayan civilisation and a powerful warrior culture.
Your tour begins with pick-up from selected Mayan Riviera hotels. En route to Chichen Itza, you’ll stop for a break in a Mayan village which offers plenty of exciting shopping opportunities.
Upon arrival at Chichen Itza, your experienced guide will take you on a tour of this incredible Maya-Toltec site* which includes a Nunnery, Pyramid of Kukulcan, the Ball Court, Observatory, Temple of the Warriors and many other smaller beautifully preserved temples.
Following your tour, you’ll walk through to the Mayaland Hotel, the only hotel with access to the Chichen Itza ruins, for a delightful buffet lunch.
IMPORTANT: Admission fee into the archaeological site is NOT included, and will be payable upon entrance. This is governed by the local municipality and our Tour providers have no control over this. The amount is usually approximately $481 Pesos which is only around £20 per Adult.
