SeaVenture Discovery Cove – Key Info

Important:

Tickets for SeaVenture are an added extra, and do not include admission to Discovery Cove. You must purchase a Discovery Cove package in order to enjoy the SeaVenture experience.

Discovery Cove, 6000 Discovery Cove Way, Orlando, FL 32821.

Availability:

Daily (subject to availability).

Times:

You will be advised of your SeaVenture time when checking-in at Discovery Cove. Please arrive at SeaVenture 10-minutes before your allotted time.

Duration:

The SeaVenture experience is approximately 1 hour including briefing and preparation time.

Parking:

Parking is free at Discovery Cove.

Restrictions:

• Minimum age is 10 years.
• Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult who is also participating in SeaVenture.
• Unsuitable for those with respiratory problems such as asthma.
• Unsuitable for pregnant women.
• Unsuitable for people with heart, back or neck problems.
• Unsuitable for people with anxiety or phobias such as claustrophobia.
• No sunglasses please.
• Jewellery (with the exception of wedding rings and watches), must be removed.

Safety Requirements:

• Participants must be in good physical condition.
• Please do not consume alcohol for at least 12 hours prior to your SeaVenture experience.
• Do not fly within four hours of participating.
• You must have a minimum of 2 hours between your SeaVenture experience and any dolphin interaction (check this at Discovery Cove reception).

Attire:

• You must wear a short wetsuit for the interaction.
• Glasses/contact lenses are permitted.
• The helmet weighs 15lbs in the water and 72lbs outside the water.

Group Size:

SeaVenture is a small-group experience of up to eight people per excursion.

Included:

SeaVenture underwater walking tour (with the additional purchase of a Discovery Cove ticket).

Not included:

• Admission to Discovery Cove (Discovery Cove package purchase required).
• Photos and videos (these can be purchased separately).

SeaVenture Discovery Cove – Getting There

Address:

Discovery Cove is located at 6000 Discovery Cove Way, Orlando, FL 32821.

By Car:

From the west: Take the I-4 East toward Orlando to Exit 71 (SeaWorld exit).

Bear right onto Central Florida Parkway when you leave the exit ramp.

Discovery Cove is on the right past the sign for SeaWorld Orlando.

From the north: Take the I-4 West to Exit 72 signed Beachline Expressway/FL-528/Airport.

From the Beachline Expressway, take the first exit signed to International Drive, and turn left.

Take a right onto Central Florida Parkway at the third traffic light.

Discovery Cove is on the left hand side.

From the east: Take FL-528 (Beachline Expressway) west to the exit for International Drive and turn left.

Make a right onto Central Florida Parkway at the third traffic light.

Discovery Cove is on the left hand side.
