The Celtic Tour

This full-day Celtic Tour takes you to some of the most ancient and historic parts of Ireland from where the High Kings once ruled the country.

You’ll travel north from Dublin to the sacred site of Loughcrew – one of the most important prehistoric cemeteries in Ireland.

After a drive through the breathtaking Irish countryside you’ll arrive at the great Trim Castle, where some of the best fight scenes in the movie ‘Braveheart’ were filmed!

From here you’ll travel to The Hill of Tara – one of the most sacred sites in ancient Ireland. The High Kings ruled the country from Tara, and it’s said that a quarter of Ireland’s green landscape can be seen from the hill.

Other locations you’ll visit during the day include one of Ireland’s most important ancient sites 'the Hill of Uisneacht'.
